Massage on Tour

Massage on Tour is a mobile massage business providing therapeutic massage and relaxation techniques for the entertainment industry. In 2002 Susan Novy toured with one of the most notable bands in rock & roll history. She became familiar with backstage protocol, the hectic schedule of daily performances, and loading in/out of different halls. Since then Susan has developed a data base of therapists who work with rock concerts, symphonies, opera houses, recording studios and film productions. Susan and her team of therapists understand the human body and it’s response to the stress of performing and living on the road.

The time between sound check and the show is an opportune time to have a good massage, guided meditation or assisted yoga routine. With all the craziness, clutter, and tension backstage these services help performers relax, focus and concentrate on their role in the production.

Using modalities such as Swedish, Deep tissue, Ashiatsu, Reflexology, Myofascial Release and Reiki - our team of therapists have reduced the pain and stress of musicians, actors, orchestra conductors and their production crews. You won’t find a list of celebrities listed here; your confidentiality is as important as the bodywork you receive. We will not ask for photographs, autographs or use your celebrity status to promote our business. (Unless of course you want us to!) Our reputation speaks for itself and references will be provided upon request. Please allow 3 weeks notice if you will need these services for more than a day or two.

Massage On Tour’s data base of massage therapists are referenced, Nationally Certified and licensed. Massage therapy is regulated in most States; however, there is an exemption if your massage therapist is hired as part of the production crew.

The hourly is rate is $110 plus travel fees. Rates are negotiable and vary depending on circumstances and length of hire.
